Orion Foundation Memorial Quilt Project

Just as the AIDS quilt brought awareness and education to HIV and AIDS, so will the Orion Foundation quilt shine light on the darkness surrounding FIP. The intent is to create many of these quilts for display and education at cat shows across the United States and Canada with hopes that one day they will be seen world wide. Quilt kits, which will include materials and instructions for making the center block seen above, transfers for making the memorial blocks, and suggestions for putting the quilt together, will be sent to anyone who is willing to contribute their time and efforts in this project.

We need your help. Whether you are an experienced quilter or can barely sew on a button, your help would be greatly appreciated. It is not necessary to make the time commitment that it takes to produce an entire quilt. You can contribute greatly by making a block or two. Technically advice and support will be provided!

CUSTOM SCREEN SAVERS

Custom screen savers made from your photos! Screen savers could be of your cats using professional photos - only used with photographer permissions (if the photographer is Mark McCullough, I already have permission :-)) - or personal photos. If you have a web site, you can offer the screen saver as a free download from your site. You could have a screen saver of your family, children, pets, grandchildren, wedding, vacation, or other event. You can have a saver made for someone for a birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, Mother's or Father's Day, or Christmas gift. Savers can be downloaded from the web or I can have your saver put on CD for the additional cost of $5 which includes postage and handling to anywhere in the world.

Photos in jpeg format (highest possible resolution - quality of the photo will largely determine the quality of the finished saver) can be supplied to me by e-mail or I can scan them for you and return your photos. Cost for a screen saver is $3 PER PHOTO USED with a 10 photo minimum. If I scan the photos there will be an additional cost of $0.50 per photo.
